Know a child between the ages of 5 and 10, who for one reason or another, never had the opportunity to play our great game of hockey?  Introducing the VERY First Shift program, a six-week learn to play program designed to help kids fall in love with hockey.  We focus on having fun while learning basic skills.

Registration is $229.00 and includes head to toe new Bauer equipment and six on ice sessions of learn to skate including fundamentals of hockey. At the Welcome Event, your child will be fitted for and receive his or her equipment.

The VERY First Shift - 5-7 Year Olds:
WELCOME EVENT –Thursday, September 8th, 2022

ON – ICE SESSIONS – Saturdays @ 2pm – September 17th, 24th October 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd

The VERY First Shift is open to boys and girls who have not previously been registered in organized hockey and who are residents of Mississauga.

The Streetsville Hockey League will also be offering an opportunity to join one of our U7 programs once the program ends. All VERY First Shift members will be offered a discount of $75.00 if they wish to join one of our U7 Hockey programs.

The First Shift 6-10 Year Olds:

REGISTRATION OPENS June 1st, 2022!  Programs fill up quickly so don’t delay!

Streetsville Hockey League will also be offering a transitional program after Christmas offering a continuation of skills and a game format to help prepare players to join our hockey league..
